Biography:

Youssef is a Certified Life Design Coach by Stanford University. His life journey, from the banks of the Nile River in Egypt to the bustling Missouri River in Kansas City, is one of inspiration and impact. As a Career Coach, a first-generation professional, and An Egyptian American Imam, he leverages his multicultural and multilingual skills to provide college and career guidance to disadvantaged and underserved workforce nationwide. He studied for his first Bachelor’s degree at Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, majoring in Simultaneous Translation Arabic<>English, with a minor in French & Islamic Studies. He earned his second Bachelor of Arts, from North Central College, in Naperville, IL, majoring in Human Resources Management, and Communications, with an independent senior project focusing on designing a training for Intercultural Communication in the workplace.

He also earned his Master's in Business Administration with a focus in Coaching, and Organizational Development. He served in a variety of higher education institutions, including a community college, a liberal arts 4-year college, and a world-ranking university. He currently serves as A Career Coach at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Equipped with almost a decade of experience in Higher Education, and internationally recognized Life and Career Coaching certifications, in 2023 he founded Ummah Career Lab, in Kansas City, MO, with the purpose of cultivating a generation of empowered Muslim Youth & Underserved Communities who thrive in Education, Careers, and Service
